Spot on upstate. I was just about to post this. They really are not a great transition defensive team. Boy if they didnt make shots we could have a field day.

Almost gotta hope UK wins this one. At this point, rankings no longer mean anything, and we don't really need the #1 target on our back going into post-season. Sill can't help wanting to see them get their a--ses handed to them though!

Not necessarily. Remember 1996, when the committee put UMass and Kentucky, thought at the time to be the two best teams in the country, in the same half of the bracket?

They used to have predetermined brackets, i.e. It was decided back in August that East region would play West region in the semis, Midwest played South. Because of some screwups like the one you stated, they no longer predetermine the region match ups, instead they do it after they seed all of the teams. It's the last thing they do now.

Nah, we're locked into no worse than the #2 overall.

Our record is 30-1, that's way too impressive to ignore.

If UK wins out, the discussion about the #1 and #2 overall seeds will probably last about 10 seconds.

No one it he SEC can beat KU. Might as well give them the conf trophy right now too. Davis is ridiculous. Cuse's zone gives them a better chance than any other contenders... Gotta hope Jones has an off game cause Davis, MKG, Lamb etc are usually going to get theirs... When jones is on they are really impressive

As far as seeding goes, I don't think there's any doubt that cuse should be the number 2 overall seed and therefore not have to play KU until the championship game. That said, we all know who the NCAA would like to play in the final, KU and UNC. Given the opportunity (ie a Cuse loss before championship of be tourney)' I bet the committee will seize the opportunity to pair cuse and KU on one side of the draw, and UNC and duke on the other.

You'd have to run, get Wiltjer on the floor, and then have Fair/KJ take Wiltjer one on one every possession. Eric Murphy had him beat by two steps one on one.

Kentucky is awesome this year, but we can beat them. They have so much talent and skill at every position, especially the frontcourt. UNC is another extremely talented team and I really do not want to play them at any point...

We really need to try to wear them down or get them in foul trouble, or both, to beat them. They have more talent at the top of their roster, but we have more talent coming off the bench, by far. Their starting five is outstanding but they don't really have much after that, so we need to try to exploit them if/when we play them.

Not if through some miracle dickie simpkins gets hired by cbs and does the syracuse/ UK finale...there is a chance then that Davis is handing out movie tickets to waiters.
