Why do people have be negative or suspicious about things that have yet to take place?

Last month, G-Mac was a long shot at getting the Head Coaching position. Many felt he did not have a chance. Now he might.

Nothing firm yet only rumors. Yet, let’s start having questions about the staff he could/would bring with him.

Next, there will be questions if he brought players with him. After all, Sienna is a lower college whose team was 14-18 the year before.

There may be a possibility where GMAC is not the new head coach.

All I am saying is “Let the pieces come together before tearing anything apart.”

A friend of mine is friends with a current Siena player. Said player says they’ve discussed the future plan of following McNamara to Syracuse.

I haven’t watched a minute of hoops in months, but it sounds like GMac did a better job against Duke than most.

Read the comments on the board from the people who are the strongest in favor of hiring him. A lot of their reasoning is sentimental because he's the guy who helped win a national championship.

But they didn’t want to try and fund another one? They wanted the first guy to fail so GMac could maybe come back if he was successful? Just seems silly

He was an assistant under Hop also. Considered one of the youngest brightest minds. Gerry credited Ben with the game plan for the conference tournament and game against Duke.

There is a chance Siena interviews him for the HC job, otherwise we should all hope Gerry brings him with him.

Keep in mind re timing GMAC has scheduled ankle replacement surgery...not an easy or quick recovery. He will be out of commission for a good while.
