That's a bummer. This would have been a good game to get him some run. If the injury lingers he's probably a redshirt candidate.

He’s the most important guy to get back. Having him to stretch the field is imperative. Don’t feel good about this one.Fran said at his presser that we wouldn't see him this week...
Didn't Fran say this week that a player approached him and asked if he should be redshirted this year? Perhaps this is him? That's a bummer. This would have been a good game to get him some run. If the injury lingers he's probably a redshirt candidate.
Only hoping it’s not Zeed. I would hate to see us lose players before they even establish themselves here.Didn't Fran say this week that a player approached him and asked if he should be redshirted this year? Perhaps this is him?
I’m thinking it’s Malachi James based on his absence todayDidn't Fran say this week that a player approached him and asked if he should be redshirted this year? Perhaps this is him?

Should we assume he asked because he wants to leave? Could be other factors.Only hoping it’s not Zeed. I would hate to see us lose players before they even establish themselves here.
He already redshirted at Georgia last year. Whether or not he ever plays another game for Syracuse remains to be seen.Only hoping it’s not Zeed. I would hate to see us lose players before they even establish themselves here.
Maybe James, he isn't getting any run this year, even with ouDidn't Fran say this week that a player approached him and asked if he should be redshirted this year? Perhaps this is him?
James didn't play at all, wouldn't be a huge surprise for him to leave, just as Jordan did.Holy Cross only kicked off 3 times today.
Why would he leave?Maybe James, he isn't getting any run this year, even with ou

That would make sense. Maybe he doesn't want to use a year on eligibility on kick returns.I’m thinking it’s Malachi James based on his absence today
He isn't playing and has 3 players ahead of him why stay? Why would he leave?
No reason to every run Nixon out there even if healthy

Haynes is still the best deep threat and a need for the team. Meeks has great body control and toughness to compete for the ball, but he is not running past good P4 corners. I see Meeks as a reliable possession guy. Haynes opens it up for us on quick routes and deep balls. It is a huge blow if he is not back here imo.Ehh. We seem to have a lot of talent at WR - Meeks, Pena, Gadsden, Hatcher, Gill, plus the kid from Colorado State who hasn't even played yet. If there's a position we could afford to lose someone, this is it.

Wax. That was not my argument. My argument is Haynes brings something the other WRs do not and labeling it as a position we can lose someone is not correct. We aren't good enough yet to lose our best guys at any position.OK, which is the bigger blow - no Marlowe Wax, or no Zeed Haynes?
Zeed was that speedster that can take the top off the defense clearing for OG over the middle. Is it a coincidence him being gone has coincided with OG's slump? None of those receivers can do what Zeed gives us.Ehh. We seem to have a lot of talent at WR - Meeks, Pena, Gadsden, Hatcher, Gill, plus the kid from Colorado State who hasn't even played yet.
