That's a bummer. This would have been a good game to get him some run. If the injury lingers he's probably a redshirt candidate.
Didn't Fran say this week that a player approached him and asked if he should be redshirted this year? Perhaps this is him?

Only hoping it’s not Zeed. I would hate to see us lose players before they even establish themselves here.

He already redshirted at Georgia last year. Whether or not he ever plays another game for Syracuse remains to be seen.

Maybe James, he isn't getting any run this year, even with ou
Holy Cross only kicked off 3 times today.
James didn't play at all, wouldn't be a huge surprise for him to leave, just as Jordan did.

No reason to every run Nixon out there even if healthy

What? Nixon had 2 or 3 runs for 8 yards or so, and can catch a pass out of the backfield.

He’s the most important guy to get back. Having him to stretch the field is imperative. Don’t feel good about this one.

Ehh. We seem to have a lot of talent at WR - Meeks, Pena, Gadsden, Hatcher, Gill, plus the kid from Colorado State who hasn't even played yet. If there's a position we could afford to lose someone, this is it.

Haynes is still the best deep threat and a need for the team. Meeks has great body control and toughness to compete for the ball, but he is not running past good P4 corners. I see Meeks as a reliable possession guy. Haynes opens it up for us on quick routes and deep balls. It is a huge blow if he is not back here imo.

OK, which is the bigger blow - no Marlowe Wax, or no Zeed Haynes?

It’s Wax, with the caveat we don’t get Grant and Barron playing the positions they should be without Marlowe getting banged up.

Zeed was that speedster that can take the top off the defense clearing for OG over the middle. Is it a coincidence him being gone has coincided with OG's slump? None of those receivers can do what Zeed gives us.
