For what it's worth, heard St. Pete Beef O'Brady a high probability. Will be happy regardless of where we go.

. Now does Rutgers and smu both have to lose or both?
Can't wait for Sunday and hopefully the end of these "inside" rumors falling from the sky.
Yahoo Sports agrees. It sounded as if it was regardless of Saturday's games. Not gospel though, so take it for what it's worth.
I agree with you. This was someone with clout, but I try not to probe too much when these people say things like this. Can't wait for Sunday and hopefully the end of these "inside" rumors falling from the sky.
Question - given that one of the advantages of making a bowl is the additional practice time - does playing in one of these early bowls eat in to any of that and in that way represent a negative? For the players it's clearly a win versus going to brokesville or a return trip to NYC (loved the first two but give it a rest for a year or two then people will be ok w/ a return trip). But just wondering what this does with the practices.
Yes we will. We are hardnosed.Considering that the BeefO is on Dec. 23rd and the announcement is likely Sunday Dec. 8th, it's possible we don't get the full 15 practices in.
At least the location is good incentive for northerners and NY transplants to FL.Two negatives to the Beef:
It comes and goes before you know it. There's no buildup.
It's played at 2 on the Monday before Christmas. Most people are at work or getting ready to leave work for the holidays. Ratings will be real low. No one, except the diehards of the playing teams, will be watching.
