if we had the pay board more info might get posted as its somewhat hidden.. being a public board anyone can read it and perhaps the source and other parts of the info dont need to come out yet. what if 2 people know whats happening and someone reveals it, not hard to figure out who let it slip and suddenly a source of other info is gone.
 
I heard that someone very well connected in the Athletic Department has declared his allegiance to SU and has given word that they will never leave, no matter how bad things get, not until they are dead. Can't say anymore.....

Probably didn't word that very well. It does sound a little " look at me" in retrospect. I do have a good source and knew it would be out soon. Wanted to wait on the individual in respect to their wishes but wanted to share with the best fans here that something was coming.

you know who doesn't have coaches leave for better jobs? crappy teams. the degree the market is finding our assistant coaches attractive is aligned with our performance. it's a byproduct of success...except for Dough Nussmeir, I guess.
 
where is perles going? He was a very pleasant surprise this year but considering where we hired him from, unemployed probably got him on the cheap.

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm amazed at some of the comments made by a few people.
 
If it is true that Perles is leaving, good opportunity for a solid OL/TE coach
 
Pay side, we just need a VIP side to filter the dribble, only if I can get in.

DC, you do not owe an explanation or apology. You have been a long time poster and, if I remember correctly, were over on the scALPout board. I for one appreciate the heads up. I am happy with the momentum of the program and it does suck when you break up the band. I do trust that Rev. Shaffer will continue strengthening the program.

If it's Perles, I thought Perles did a GREAT job with the line this year. You could see marked improvement as the season wore on. He'll be missed but can be replaced just as the guy(s) before him.

2 coaching spots open means an opportunity to really cover some recruiting ground, but with respects to the OLine, I’d hire a coach first, recruiter second.

Put me on the list of people who doesn't think threads like this are good for the board. But it's also a free country, so post what you want, and we can all read what we want, I get all that.

I think you should either say what you heard, or just don't say anything at all. Just creates a lot of useless noise, whether or not you are trying to impress people that you know something (I don't think that's the case here).

What's worse, is after the news inevitably comes out, it will be viewed by many as a defense of the original post. But that's not really the point at all.
