I have to wonder how annoying the ESPN staff members are on ESPN when SU starts playing well? Do they do so with class or like 8th grade boys?

They probably did the Marrone piece thinking that the Orange might be going in to the B1G. The ACC move was kind of down in the dark of night. I have always held them responsible for the nonstop attack of Boeheim. Chicago style.

We need to win more than 4 games, or perhaps win a game in November before we get any national respect. It’s coming, but we shouldn’t kid ourselves into thinking one big win a year followed by futility gets us any. It’s coming, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

FSU did end up beating Samford by 10, they didn't lose to them and we beat FSU by 23. Funny how he didn't include VT's win over FSU. Are they a suspect team too this year beating FSU only by 21?

Did he say anything about the actual BIG 10 losses to Troy, BYU, Akron, Kansas etc?

That's the thing. I get people saying we need to win more than 4 games for anyone take us seriously. We do. Our own fanbase doesn't take us seriously yet.

But in the past 3 years, we've beaten VT, Clemson, FSU. Took @Miami, @LSU, @NC State, @FSU to the end of the game. We've run out of steam by November as we build depth under a new staff.

We don't need to be in the same conversation with Samford. This isn't Greg Robinson's Syracuse.
