Here's an idea for the Pitt game

Boy, what a difference a win over NW would have made in the perception of the fans around here. Smith, pick up the damn lateral, kick a punt out of bounds, etc. A 2-2 team would have had people believing around here. 1 game difference and the sky is falling. Boy, fickle group. I'll be at the game and I'm looking forward to it.

I'd just be happy if people knew to shut up on our own third downs. Drives me nuts when the dumb woman in front of me starts screaming at the top of her lungs when we go for it 4th down.

I'll be there and while I'm expecting to see plenty of silver I hope the fan base surprises and shows up and supports loudly. For every row of silver I will take it upon myself to raise my decibel level. Hopefully I will still have a voice by the end of the first quarter.

Oh and we're going to beat Pitt. I will be rocking the orange GMac jersey in the dome for the first time since last years WVU game. The only gameday it's been worn this year has been Stony Brook but if it brings us a win vs Pitt it will be worn each gameday moving foreward as well. I dare not wear the vintage Spotwood #8 jersey for fear of our own players well being.

Work is usually difficult until about Tuesday after every SU game because my voice becomes very Godfather-esque. People don't know what to think.

With that said, I will be there. Bringing 7 quasi fans that will be full-fledged ing fans by the end of the game.

Shenexon is donating a pair of tix to a loyal dedicated Cuse fan (he posts here semi-regularly) over in Rochester (who has had a lot of unexpected family related expenses this year due to a death in the family)...needless to say if someone has a single anywhere in the Dome for Shenexon contact him. He'll be at the Fine Lot before the game.
