Higgins and Burr have competition

Too funny, that should be shown at every ref clinic. Just forwarded to all of my referee friends

Tough call to make, definitely a travel though. Looks like a jump stop and the ref that should make the call isn't looking at his feet.

I fear that the non-call falls under the cliché "Let the players decide the game. A whistle shouldn't determine who wins/loses."

That's a travel in the last 3 seconds as well as the first 3.

What's the problem with that?

I know you're being sarcastic, but I'll answer anyway for those who really don't get what he did. The jump stop was actually his second step (some may argue his first) but he clearly takes two baby steps after his jump stop, thus a travel. You only get two for free. Must be SEC rules.

I watched the end of that game. The non-call was horrible, but I gotta say Winthrop played some of the best matador defense I have ever seen to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

After the jump step he takes another step after that. He didn't dribble from between 5 feet outside the 3-pt line and the hoop. That can not be anything other than a travel in the physical universe in which we occupy.

Saw it too, Winthrop caved in big time, but the officials take home the MVP award for Georgia. That was not the only horrible call in that game.

That gif is weird, it seems like jumps when he's doing the jump stop. The guy didn't take a dribble inside of the 3 point line.

Yes but you can't take two steps, then do the jump step and then take another step. They say "let the players decide the game." but by not calling stuff at the end the refs ARE deciding the game. Call what happens.
