Hodg GameDay: AAC Championship USF v. Wichita St, 3:15pm ESPN

I would've wanted Hodgson regardless of this outcome. At the very least, this win negates the argument that GMac made the tourney and Hodgson hasn't, therefore he's a better hire. That viewpoint obviously lacks nuance, as judging competence entirely on the success of a single elimination tournament is silly, though I guarantee you many people would've tried to make that exact point.
Plus Hodgson was more dominant, and in a much better conference, than Gmac

Look, anyone that's not on board the BH train is just making up reasons at this point.

And that was true before we knew the likely end of this game.

It just makes sense for everyone.

Folks are overselling their arguments on this one coach. We weren't allowed to be excited for GMacs victory, but now we have to be excited for this victory?
I hope they are doing a national search, & their due diligence on all coaches. If he gets it after all that, let's go. But, let it play out. If they don't go with an assistant from a blueblood, I'd like to know why.
Not sure it matters, but I hope our future coach wins 1 or 2 in the NCAAT. I doubt GMac will, but I'd assume USF gets one. Seems good for the sell to new recruits & image of the new coach.
Will be fun to see it play out. At least, I now have a reason to watch some teams during March.
Decisive victory. Wichita St equaled their grit, but couldn't hit shots & turned it over due to the constant defensive pressure.

This guy has done it at 2 different places plus was an assistant to a good school in the SEC, so he meets your criteria. Sign him and get it
over with, he is a good recruiter to add with a great feel for coaching the game.
If he is willing to come don't mess around and blow it.

Any concerns about OTJ training if we hire an assistant from a blue blood? We've kind of experienced some growing pains with that with both football and basketball the last couple seasons.
