Just got back from the Dome. I grew up in Syracuse, and graduated from SU in Summer '01. This beats Va Tech and Miami for me. So proud of the team and happy for Dino.

I walked through the Clemson parents outside the Dome, some drunk people were yelling crap at them, I walked up to a Clemson dad, shook his hand and asked him not to pay any attention the jerks and told him they played a great game. Call me soft and old, but I felt as good about him looking me and the eye saying thanks as I did about the game, and that's saying a lot.

What a night. I can't even...

now with 2 days reflection, it is no hyperbole that this win was the highlight of my fall/winter sports fandom

it is currently improbable that the Yanks can pull off a WS victory, the new york football giants and the knicks will provide nothing meaningful this year and it looks like the rangers will follow suit, Cuse hoops will be, at best, a struggle and nothing the football team can do this year will top this win.
