But HW's injury is not about the development of a bench. How developed HW was/is no longer relevant because he is out. The bench development issue now would center on Bayer's readiness, and you had never mentioned him.

Exactly. developing Howard Washington would not have helped us in the event of his injury. they are separate issues.

I’m sure Matt wants to play. I wonder how much he’s practiced. If it’s a high ankle sprain, no way he’d be a full go this fast. Hope he doesn’t try to play if he can’t go but I’m sure JB will keep a close eye on him.
