Is there tool on McAfee that can remove it?
I had two antivirus programs on my computer at the same time that slowed my computer down to almost dial-up days slow.
Just recently we removed the Ad-aware and my computer is humming now.

Have gone through 3 computers since I started doing the daily articles. Tom said no one runs into more Internet crap in their daily computing.
I'll gladly accept a Mac if your offering one
I run malwarebytes every couple of days. It really works but be sure to update it before use...only takes seconds.

I hear you, 2 anti-virus programs at the same time is not good. mwb is not anti-virus and does not need to run full time. just run a scan as needed and you should be ok.

i live on my laptop and run both of these from time to time in conjunction with anti-virus and have never had an issue.

I know a guy
. But not for free, unfortunately.I've not run a single antivirus anything in 5 years.
