Hugh Freeze out at Ole Miss

Phone records can be very incriminating...

so Nutts Attorney used knowledge of this phone call to gain leverage over Ole Miss for his client, what a pos.

Houston Nutt will never coach again in college. His lawyer snaked Freeze even though Freeze was an idiot for calling hookers.

Ole Miss has to be looking at Louisville and not be that worried.

Was plenty of smoke AND now apparently fire around hugh. Was a scumbag from the start. Bye bye. Any used car salesman that would take Kelly after Dabo threw him to the CURVE is an A1 Ahole. Just the tip of the iceberg.

Flashback:

“Well, Coach Freeze told me when you’re that big and out there with faith in Christ, he’s like, ‘What do you expect? Jesus got nailed to the cross.’”

Freeze wasn't fired for this phone call. Freeze was fired because they don't want there to be any more digging at all into the escort story. For a school that has fought every thing and backed Freeze unconditionally to the public as recently as 72 hours ago there are very obvious reasons they want this to to be put to rest quickly amidst all the other allegations they're already being charged with.

Been saying for awhile the 30 for 30 on Ole Miss once they get absolutely crushed by the NCAA will be must see TV. The infractions in their NOA are pretty egregious and that's not even counting all the stuff that other schools reported that the NCAA couldn't prove but knows is true and will keep in mind during the sanctions as well.

On the flip side, Ole Miss has been recruiting great at WR since Freeze got there. From what I've heard once the bowl bans hit you'll see a lot of kids transfer out. Maybe we get lucky and Dino and crew can convince any of them to come up north and join the orange.

So, Sirius college sports hosts were asking listeners who is a realistic replacement for freeze. Someone tweeted Dino Babers. Tom Luginbill liked the suggestion and thought Babers is an example of a coach who took the wrong job. Ugh.

What BS. Dino has said multiple times that he likes to zig when everyone thinks he should zag. I think he's here for a while, unless the DQ stuff drives hime away (and it might).

No luck necessary. HCDB already has the eye of potential receivers and after this season, expect recruits to want to play Dino-Ball. And not just QBs and Receivers, once kids see the fun in the action, expect that recruiting will be easier. Imagine a backup having the same number of plays as a stater elsewhere. Lots of opportunities for the young players.

I was driving through northern MS on wed and a local sports show was doing " 100 teams in 100 days" as they count down to college football season. Day 45 they talked about SU (yeah i know, they should have waited till day 44). They spoke really highly of Dino Babers and played his VaTech post game locker room speech. It was pretty cool...other than that, they laughed at our first 3 home games but said we we were probably better than kansas, kentucky, and duke as a basketball school that plays football. It was nice to hear some SU talk deep in SEC country.

It's like driving through central new york except every radio show makes a reference to guns, trump, salvation, deliverance (i'm not sure if its a reference to the movie or the bible) and if you pass through a town of over 5,000 people they usually talk football 12 months a year :)

And if it is anything like Arkansas was all the music channels are country or Christian. ;)
