Only question is who starts. I think Long gets the go ahead that Lester is calling the shots
I said it in the other thread speculating Hunt was done, but what I actually bet happens is that we see both Long and Wilson on Saturday. Hell, maybe even Kimble. We're going to be down 35 at halftime so there's certainly no harm in giving them all a shot and seeing what happens.Maybe Long is the long term answer but physically he looks no where near ready. To me Wilson has to be the guy, you named him the #2 he has been in the system for a year already and hes the best passer out of the 4 QB's. He should get the Nod and the staff should be offereing at least one or two QB's this week.

I really get the feeling AJ Long is about to be thrown to the wolves...
it's actually not a broken leg which I know from the work I do and personal experience.
Gotta go with Wilson. It will be an ugly game and ugly the rest of the year but bite the bullet and just play Wilson and take the lumpsMaybe Long is the long term answer but physically he looks no where near ready. it's actually not a broken leg and here's how I know. Broken is all the way through the bone and you know it by the pain level and confirm it with xray. A "fractured" leg is only partially through the bone and can be played through. I know because I played on one for 4 weeks til the end of the season when I finally said something and the xray showed it. Wasn't smart and I sucked big time being slowed so much by it, but its what dumb kids do to keep playing (ahem).
Can't blame the staff as others were elsewhere here today since he did likely hurt it earlier but as mentioned you can play with it and since it's not a weight bearing bone you can actually walk pretty good on it (which isn't possible with a break). He'll be fine and it sure sets things up as interesting for next year, more so if one of the 3 backups shows some potential.

possible along with the fracture. I'm going to watch the vid tonight to see the mechanism of injury and early incident to get a better feel for it.High ankle sprain?
It would fit with the 4-6 week timeline.
