Hurray another uniform thread!

Maybe it's me I thought the uniforms, especially the uniforms were pretty sweet. Most of my friends and the rest of the people sitting around me felt the same. Sure would love to see more orange, but if the gray is a one off I have no problem, plus the orange is coming. We can't wear orange every game.

I don't disagree...but I LOVE those white helmets. I like the all white too. Not a huge fan of all blue...

I agree with all of this.I think the white helmet looked bad because it was paired with that crappy all blue mess.White helmet,orange jersey,white pants would look good,imo.

Agreed. The white helmets look cool, just poorly matched with the blue [a la the Maryland game].

I think that the uniforms would all benefit from being slightly simplified, too--get rid of all the gradient shading. Too busy.

I give up. We should go with what the old fans want. It's clearly not worth the endless discussion and complaining. They can't tell who's who on the field and are suffering from an emotional detachment as a result. We need to do it for them. Let's rock a look from the 80's to make them feel better and know who to root for. I'd gladly see us trot our the McNabb era uni's with 2 star recruits over reading one more uni post. (Nevermind proof that it helps with recruiting)...

And lets play in a half filled dome and subpar competition too. That should reel in the big 2.5 star guys. Also let's ditch the efforts at a modern offensive game plan and go with three yards and a cloud of dust! Why try!? I mean if things don't stay the same, they change!

I thought the kids should have been wearing all orange underneath the grey instead of the blue most of the kids were wearing.

Yeah, we took a few liberties that failed miserably in the early Gross era. But they eventually got it right with these.

And once they got it right, they destroyed it again.

This look was a perfect modern spin on the greatness of the 80s/90s uniforms.

I do have to say, I really like the new orange helmet. But the rest, meh. Number font is starting to get more annoying by the week. As is the lack of orange pants.

I'd be perfectly happy with an Orange version of that with the white pants and any of the three current helmets. I think that would look sharp.

You're not wrong by any means. But an honest question, because I could substitute a few words in your post and ask the same thing about why you're responding to this thread--if the topic doesn't interest you, why post about it? There are multiple boards and literally dozens of active threads open on this forum. If this topic isn't for you--and clearly there are some folks who ARE interested in discussing it--then why chime in? Nobody is forcing you to open any thread, let alone participate.

There are multiple boards and literally dozens of active threads open on this forum. I hear ya. Just how I feel after seeing three of these threads every day. You either do or don't like them. But we're already half way through the season here... let's move on already.

They come back up every time we run something new and sb out they or we see another national article mocking us. The latest was alumni writing letters to the editor and the chancellor.

Orange helmets should always be worn at home. If people like the white ones fine keep them for select road games.
Orange pants should be worn always except if we wear orange tops. I like the grey pants the NY Giants wear and if we wore orange tops those grey pants with orange/blue stripes are what I would wear.

If colts fans want to argue that theve always had the white with the blue horseshoe and that's 'tradition'...then fine.
