I know I am in the minority and it is a very hot take, but I think we are a better defensive team without Donnie. Kyle & George would be bigger losses. We'll see.And without Donnie

I’m saying we were the better team on the floor tonight when the clock was running. that is an undeniable fact. Houston is a better team. We were better tonight.Who says we’re the better team? We aren’t.
I’m encouraged that we played like a #4 team tonight.
Not sure how a fan could have watched the last half decade, and then this and not feel like a lot of positives were demonstrated, and a ceiling was broken.
I’m not one to say we would have won IF Donnie had played or IF we had hit FTs. It would have been a different game, with possibly a better result. Maybe Donnie misses those threes that Betsey hit, for example….
Good game. We played #3 ‘even’ and had a chance to win. That’s overall/net positive.
I would rather have him than not, but I partly feel the same. He is prone to giving the opponent runs with bad shot selection. Miss his rebounding though.I know I am in the minority and it is a very hot take, but I think we are a better defensive team without Donnie. Kyle & George would be bigger losses. We'll see.
I don’t understand “when the clock was running” as a qualifier.I’m saying we were the better team on the floor tonight when the clock was running. that is an undeniable fact. Houston is a better team. We were better tonight.
Thats precisely what I’m saying. Lol.The final score doesn’t define who was the better team on the floor on that given day?
I’ll get slaughtered for this, but we are more stagnant offensively as well. He’s a good player that can make FT’s unlike the other guys, but not sure he’s as tough as we need him to be.I know I am in the minority and it is a very hot take, but I think we are a better defensive team without Donnie. “lol?”Thats precisely what I’m saying. Lol.
Don't want to take anything away from his talent, but I agree.I’ll get slaughtered for this, but we are more stagnant offensively as well. He’s a good player that can make FT’s unlike the other guys, but not sure he’s as tough as we need him to be.
Let’s win this thing. You want to get get big nil make your free throws and win the game
I’m not doing a good job communicating what I’m trying to say. My apologies. I’m saying sometimes the final score does not tell you who the better team was on the floor that night. We were better during the game. We shot 40% from the line so we lost. During the time on the court we were better in my opinion. Sorry for doing a crappy job explaining my take. I’m “lol” ing at myself“lol?”
You said SU was the better team and now you’re saying the better team is the one with the winning score. Which?
Got it. “While the clock was running” means the gametime not on the FT line. Thank you for the clarity!I’m not doing a good job communicating what I’m trying to say. My apologies.
