I agree with Moqui

Depending on the 2nd round matchup, the defense is probably good enough to carry this team to the Sweet 16, so this squad is clearly better than I thought it was - you got me, I was definitely wrong.

But I am far from convinced that it's as good as many of you think it is, either.

Sooner or later, they are going to run into a patient team (make that teams) that takes care of the ball and works the zone for good shots. SU will need to show a good half court offense to win games like that. The Orange are currently ranked 3rd in Pomeroy's offensive efficiency ratings. Partial out the transition points, and I bet they are ↓ 60.

Great win, exciting game, I haven't deleted it from my dvr yet because I want to watch it again. I don't like being the guy who pisses in the cornflakes, but remember, it was Seton Hall.

Seton Hall.

SU has faced only 1 team that is a lock to make the NCAA tournament. And we faced them on our home court with their best player out.

Syracuse has looked like world beaters in November and December. Bodes well for March, right?

We'll see.

It's not who they are beating, it's how they are doing it.

If you truly think Erik Murphy is the best player on Florida, I'll have to completely disregard everything you say from this point forward (not Tobias Harris). I can understand your cautious optimism, but I've seen just about every team play this season... and I really do like what we have. That said, this is a game of matchups, anything could happen in the tournament, we could draw a team that would lose to Seton Hall but could be the type to beat us.
