I have been a difficult conversion from the former staff to the new staff. I have been critical of the firing of FHCSS. I have been skeptical of the scheme working with our talent base. I have been vocal on the inconsistency of the offense. I have been frustrated with the program for many years and haven't believed we would be able to compete with the big dogs of college football. I haven't believed in faith without evidence

That all changed last night. The atmosphere in the Dome was electric. The fans were insane. The players were warriors. The coaching staff was Grade A. The shocked look on the Clemson fans was glorious. The field storming with my sons and OrangeNation was priceless. Its still all a dream-like state for me. Almost unbelievable.

Yet I was wrong. We are on the road to relevance and our rightful place in college football. Now, I BELIEVE!!!!

I am right there with you. I still love the old staff. I still believe Shy would have been better in the old system and got more of a shot but Dino is the real deal. My son loves him. Last night was crazy... though I am on record sayin all week they would win and had a couple friends make some money off my analysis of why we would win. The future is Exciting and this should give recruiting a huge bump. Good time to be an orange fan

The 15 year slumber/sleep walk is over. The Beast of the East is back! Gonna be some ups and downs to come - but we have a clear path now. Top 25 next year. And then.....back to relevance.

The second we hired Dino we hired our best chance at a rebuild.

Now we have to pay him and his staff.

Yup, LB is going to be a big time competition next season for snaps.

Dino's brand of football and the Dome are a match made in sports heaven. It was only a matter of time.

I've said it before, but now that we've committed to this style we're going to look back and wonder what the heck people were thinking waiting so long to try to play this way in the Dome.

To me that just looked fluky. Did a great job getting into coverage and couldn't slow up fast enough.

It's a big mental difference going from relying on your defense to be perfect and clawing out scores to being able to trust your offense to move the ball and allow the defense to have some slack.

But once you go slack (for the defense) you never go back.

I was beating him up about it after the game he said he was crowding him like they are supposed to and the kid stepped forward and they bumped knees. Said when he got to the sideline the coach said give him another 6 inches next time lol.

That call was RIDICULOUS. You could see on the replay he clearly did his best to pull up - while the returner made a move towards Shy. Sa serious what the ef moment there ... was screaming at the TV

That was a weak weak call. That sort of contact seems to happen frequently with no flags. I hate the subjective nature of penalties. Never any consistency.
