I guess ill root for

St John's and Rick pitino? Are you rooting for uconn and hurley as well?? Scheyer and Duke? ;)

I actually don't care who you root for but odd choice. A coach who beat us In a Title game and a guy who left us, all in a conference we left.
Speaking of odd - He "left us" nearly 45 years ago and that title game was nearly 30 years ago. Time to get over it.

Sad to say, I am rooting for Duke. I'll root for the Johnnies, but we can't let them be our rival. Duke just can't be considered a rival right now. They are just on a different level. So, might as well root for conference. One of the few times I have felt that way.
We will never be Duke's rival. We won't even be there second or third rival. Only way we get any sort of a rival is go back to the Big East probably not happening, or UCONN or Rutgers wind upon the ACC. Georgetown will always be my hoops rival and Penn State for football. (Showing my age)

Anyone to beat Duke. That‘s just tradition. Other’n that, I have no dog in the hunt. Would be ‘cute’ to see St John’s go deep. For both the Pitino and Kadary story and because my friend/former colleague is a massive Johnnies guy.

Is Hogdson in it?

I wouldn’t mind if the Johnnies make a bit of a run despite Pitino and Kadary. I have a new coworker who’s a St. John’s alum and they have a decent chance to defeat Hurley and the Huskies.

The same thing that I do whenever Cuse doesn’t make it. As many upsets as possible!!! Unless Duke or UConn is the underdog
All the Big East teams and Duke. My only rival is G Town and they are not dancing

I’m rooting for St. John’s. it’s so sad that we’re not in the big east but we had to leave for the ACC to preserve football.

Saint John's in the Tournament.

Hey I have to root for someone, why not them?
Why not. He’s the SU alum that we should’ve hired. Likely many of these players would be in a orange uni if he were here.

He's always going to be one of our guys to me.
And he's a hell of a coach, probably the best of his generation.
How many different teams has he taken to the Final Four?
7 Final Fours, 2 titles (with different teams), St. John's would be the fourth team he took to a Final Four.

This St John’s team is excellent. They have 3 studs and some very good role players. Definitely good enough to win it all but I’m afraid their shooting could hurt them at some point.
Good teams in the tournament usually have at least one game when they can’t make shots. It doesn’t matter to St. John’s. So much comes off their defense that when they don’t shoot well they just keep playing. Missing shots won’t bother them.

American U. I have ties to a Patriot League school, Boston U. so I'll root for the Pat League champs.

St. John's in the Big East final has been a great game. Electric crowd, and the Johnnies blew it out in the end. I"ll be rooting for Pitino and the Johnnies in the tournament.
I went to three SJ games this year. Such relentlessness even when they were offensively horrific.

They played hard on the court.

We were miles away from them this year. We will get better due to money and Alex Kline’s impact, but great coaching still matters. That’s what Boeheim never lost.

Boeheim's tactics got stale, but he always was a great in-game coach.
John Thompson had his number early in Boeheim's career, but he eventually became a great tactician who helped many teams over-achieve.

At one point in the second half they hit 14 consecutive shots. It was unbelievable.

I don’t watch much college hoops and yet I watched parts of several BET games. The atmosphere at MSG was great all week.

Meanwhile the ACCT was a compete snooze.
