I have never gotten so many compliments...

Went to a local pumpkin patch with the kids Sunday morning wearing my orange finest and received kind words from some Auburn fans, wearing their own orange.

A friend who attended the UGA - Missouri game wearing orange said he got nonstop congrats from the UGA fans.

I was getting texts from a bunch of co-workers while the game was happening saying how great Cuse looked. Got a lot of congratulations at work on Monday. It was a big deal. I was wearing my Orange everywhere the rest of the weekend.

I had to send an SU jersey to my sister in Alaska, because she now wants to dress as an Orangeman for Halloween at work.

I watched the game with a bar full of Penn State fans in Wilkes-Barre. They wanted Clemson to lose so PSU would be #2. It was still fun having a bar full of people rooting for my team, high fiving me and buying me rounds after the big win. maybe I'll go back there on saturday night wearing a Michigan shirt.

I was at the St Sebastian's homecoming up in Boston and wore my Syracuse fleece. I may as well have been on Shea Field at Boston College tailgating for a BC game in terms of the Irish Riviera demographic. I've never received so many pats on the back from BC/ND fans in my life. People are genuinely happy when an Eastern Independent team takes down a professional college program like Clemson.

It was a great feeling that northeastern football IS NOT dead.

Let me know if she wants people to watch games with! Where abouts is she?

I was in Philly Friday night during the game. At a performance of the Pennsylvania Ballet. My girlfriend owes me big time.

At every break I’d check the score on ESPN. There were 8 minutes left when the ballet ended (too many curtain calls)

We ran up Broad Street to a bar that had the game on. I was wearing my SU hat. We got beers and customers told us they were excited to see SU winning.

After the game we headed home on Patco and a young woman came up to tell us she was from South Carolina and was pleased. The game hadn’t been over 20 min yet.

In the GRob days I didn’ wear my hat much. Go Cuse
Isn't it amazing what we are willing to do for sex? :rolling:

She's in Sitka. I sent her some extra stuff and told her she has to hang it in one of the three bars there.

Which bar?

Tell them to get off the bandwagon. They had 20 years to care during the dark times...now all of a sudden everyone is a "lifelong" cuse fan. I guarantee there will be a lot of room on the bandwagon if they lose to a top 10 Miami team.

EXACTLY! I live in Albany , work at a hospital and mostly in gest and good fun from friends; have been ridiculed for 10 years. Comments like: wow, you must be a masochist to drive 2 hrs and pay for that product and as we all have heard...is it hoops season yet? That said many saw our 30 year moment on Friday night, noticed we gave a qb, a coach with moxy, and felt the palpable energy of our revived dome through the telecast. Still, its always driven me nuts about why, Albany, a college town, far from a pro town wont drive 2 hrs west for P5 football. Let's hope this sticks.

Oh wow, she's wayy down there. Sitka is on my list of places I need to hit up before I move. If I make it down there, I'll give ya a heads up!

LOVE these stories!

I'm about 400 miles away, and hardly anyone cares about college football. Friends and co-workers knew, and congratulated, but the best part was complete strangers, grocery clerks, etc... Everyone loves Davey slaying Goliath...and they all knew.

The rare college football fans wanted to talk about it, but my favorite? Evening stroll, with my wife, passed another couple - the gentleman sporting an OU shirt... When we were 30 or 40 feet past, he finally realized I had a Syracuse FOOTBALL shirt on... (as I was thinking of his team's upset to Iowa)... Much to his wife's chagrin(wealthy, uppity town), he bellowed, "Syracuse!!!" I turned, responded, we both raised our hands in the air, and he did it again. "Syracuse!!!! Hell, Yeah!!!" Yeah. It was a good week.

We take down Miami? The only thing people like more than a Davey/Goliath story, is the Cinderella story... and I have my glass slippers on. ;-)

Only been to Sitka once but I remember it was a pretty cool little town.

as someone who has drove my wife, friends, and family crazy by scheduling out 4 hours every saturday over the last 27 years (i am 32 and can probably count on my 2 hands the amount of football games i didnt watch, listen, or attend since I was 5 years old) and also as someone who has had 100% faith since the "Market Crash" that it would eventually turn around and someone who has had 100% faith in Dino Babers since day 1, i believe i have some authority to say this:

ADVERTISE, INVITE, AND ASSIST EVERY POSSIBLE PERSON TO HOP ON THE BANDWAGON. NEED A HAND? A STEP STOOL? NEED ME TO PHYSCIALLY PICK YOU UP? I'LL DO WHATEVER I CAN TO HELP MORE PEOPLE ON THIS ORANGE WAGON.

It’s posts like this that make me pissed off that we don’t have multiple/magnified version of the like button.

It deserves so much more than a “Tee”

So nice to acknowledge someone who actually gets it.
