Can never agree with a HC going ape-$%*! when there's still a chance to win the game.
If he wanted to send a message, and I do believe there was a method to his madness, he could've given a long diatribe at the presser- or at the very least, let that incompetent ref hear it plenty AFTER the play w/out getting tossed. He took the onus off the bad call and put it on his own histrionics. If another HC had done that, I'd crucify him as well...no questions asked.
Bottomline, whether we SU fans wanna admit it or not, there are those who believe this is tit-for-tat for the Hood block/foul call in the Dome. I saw that call as good at the time, but lets not act like there wasn't a controversy by some for a few weeks.
The charge was a blown call, IMO, and obviously a hose-job. But try telling that to the folks who felt Hood was fouled too.
I personally don't like seeing ANY coach lose it in a close game. JMHO
