We make way too many big mistakes on offense and on defense and we generally make zero big plays on D or special teams... This means that we always have to grind out 80 yard drives to score while the other team can count on at least 4 drives a game where they have a short field or an execution mistake on D gives them a 40 yard play.
If this were one game great... But this is the story of four years of football with Marrone and Schafer. What is disappointing is that we seem to have decent talent but we can't change the math. I really don't think these guys have it in them to change it either.
