Why Red’s “line change” sub pattern is killing this team

I've developed a watching strategy now where I'll wait until the game is over and then, if they win, I'll watch the replay recorded on YouTubeTV or the ESPN replay. Saves me a lot of stress and is much better for my blood pressure. Sometimes I'll follow along with the ESPN gamecast. I've made the mistake a couple of times tuning in in the 2nd half thinking they were cruising to an easy win only to watch them blow a big lead and have it come down to a tense final couple minutes. No more of that - no watching until the result is final. Even then when I know the result, it's still a bit stressful watching them blow a lead.
I'm not close to doing yet but am thinking about it. Last year I just totally stopped watching after the Georgetown game. I think this year if I did what you do, I might even watch the wins.

don't subscribe to ACCN so mostly i just listen live on the radio and sometimes watch condensed game next day if it was close or controversial . but i just can't do the strategy above of watching a replay when you already know the ending. kinda like a movie spoiler it just changes the whole experience for me of watching when the tension is gone. i mean can you watch CASABLANCA (spoiler alert here) the same way if you know thru the whole movie that rick ain't getting on that plane ? no way. watching a replay the next day for me is like cheap motel sex. it's pretty good but it's not the same as real time. you feel kinda shady and second class after . open the curtains to the noon time sun , hungry for breakfast knowing that every else has already eaten ... but they ain't serving lunch yet.

PSST:

Ralphie gets the Red Ryder air rifle at the end of the movie.

I hear you. A lot of decision making that leads to careless turnovers. Some of the passes yesterday were lazy. Players definitely need to take some of the responsibility for that.

But the same things happened last year. Last year I thought we just had low IQ players that lacked game sense, but it’s happening again this year with a whole new team (JJ being the only returnee, not counting Donnie because he was hurt last year so hardly played).

So is it lack of game sense or confusion on what to do on the court due to the coaching problem? This year, I am leaning heavily to the latter. I can’t believe our guys are this clueless playing basketball.
It feels to me like an attention to detail issue. Mistakes aren't being corrected quickly enough. Against BC, there was a play where the ball was thrown directly from one of our guys to a BC player. Completely careless choice. After BC got their breakaway layup off the turnover, the same player made exactly the same stupid pass, and almost got picked off again. I had to walk around a minute after that one. I am pretty sure it was either Freeman or George, but only because together they got 14 out of the 18 turnovers against BC.

The tension is why I stopped watching live. It wasn't good for my health (nor my TV remote) dealing with the stress of watching them blow a big lead time after time. Yeah, it's a spoiler knowing the outcome but then I can watch and just enjoy the good plays (like Kyle's dunks) without worrying that they're going to eventually find a way to lose.
