this is never going to happen but since everyone for the last year and a half has been able to daydream about conference alignments that make zero sense - it's my turn.
Wouldn't it be something if the ACC were able to add Notre Dame and Penn State. I'm not sure exactly which one is more unlikely, I would guess Penn State. However people have said for awhile that PSU would have wanted SU or some other BE team in the B10 just for some natural rivalries.
I know, I know - it's not happening but it would make a very good conference, every week would have great matchups like the B10 and SEC. With 16 teams the ACC could easily create a North and South division and create their own TV network to increase revenue to appeal to ND and PSU.
