to catch a little bit of the Uconn Seton Hall game and the Louisville St Johns game. The 'ville and
the convicts may be our strongest competition this year. Poll question: which of these two teams is stronger?

UConn has one of the four most talented rosters in the nation, alphabetically the other three are - Kentucky, North Carolina and us.

Once they learn how not to "let down" when they have leads and not to play down to the level of their competition, they'll be a real threat come late February and March.

At this point, Georgetown is a bigger threat than Louisville, imho.

Cheers,
Neil

Uconn is much more talented, beter and has far more upside than Lville IMO.

Agreed. I like uconn's roster alot. Good bigs, a proven scorer and a talented PG.

for a while i thought this game might be a tough one for uconn. herb pope is tough and seton hall basically had them beat last year before a total and complete late second half meltdown. my gut reaction today though is that uconn coasts in this one. hard to say, if the arena is emotional enough anything can happen.

I thought Louisville got screwed a little by the refs in the game vs UK. I didn't see the final numbers but it seemed that the FTA between the two teams was 2:1 in favor of UK. In that game, Louisville's O looked absolutely awful except for Russ Smith. UK didn't play very well either and Louisville should have capitalized, they didn't though. It looked like they just lacked the toughness and swagger that frustrated Cuse so much in the past three or four years and that was their identity.

About a week ago I said LVille was better than UConn, I would not be so confident saying that now.

What else is there to watch? I'm all over this game as well as about 5 others.

Wow, Seton Hall hanging tough so far... St Johns on the other hand, not so much.
