Dion started to break out as the season went along and went from 6 ppg to 9 the last 7 games.
I think Fab has the want to be that kind of player this year as the year goes on.
I think MCW wants to create things for the team. Reminds me of last years CJ kindof.
I think RAK has a tough guy attitude and isn't backing down even when getting bumped around in practice. He is developing offense and its beginning to show.
I think CJ is sitting in like a manager who hasn't stepped up yet. He knows he has to rebound for us hard and is. He seems to be sitting back some though and trying to see what the team needs from him most this year. He is a extremely high IQ player. Like Pippin to Jordan right now I think.
I think Southerland is coming on strong right now. Theres no doubt he is better then last year and more efficient. He is way more dangerous on both ends of the floor, but will that last once Big East ball starts? Will he rebound? Will he bloom as a consistant upperclassman by the end of the season?
What I am getting at is Guys like that could all get better as the season goes along like Dion did last year. They all want to be floor leaders or difference makers. Maybe not all of them as the last shot type but atleast as the 6th man who keeps cracking at the opposition to they win type. The 6th men who do it game after game.
In the NBA they give a 6th man of the year award because they bring it consistantly off the bench not just game off and on. They bring it game and game again. Eventually if scores get closer JB might revert to the guys that can bring that.
Scoop Triche have a new body to work with Im not saying they couldn't be that consistant 6th man type I just see the above as closer right now. Personally I believe if KJO gets healthy he could be a stud. He got stronger he did his part. God give his knees a chance come march. Your only a senior once.
How is this board going to take our first loss??? Will it be a meltdown??
Its going to come from inconsistancy or two teams playing amazing basketball in a close game and the other just outoughing us a possession or two that night. Thats what happens.
Or maybe we just win em all .
