No, it would have to be Gedney. When he got tackled at the 3 on the final play, it was one of the biggest (football) heartbreakers in Dome history (at least for me).

'01, and I think it was 59-0. Through my rose-colored glasses, Bryant McKinney held Freeney on pretty much every play. But they did dominate us.

Probably they were worried they would be matched up against us and didn't want to get their asses handed to them on National TV.

I am not sure that any Bowl would be interested in a CUSE matchup with WVU, since we have always played them in the past.

They might want a more intriguing game.
