I want Gbinije as the starting PG next year

Agreed.. It's tough being a black sheep around these parts
I hate to say it but Kaleb (nor RP) was not on the same level w the other 9 players on the court tonite. That was the difference along w the bench. Tremendous effort esp by G (second best player on the court and thats impressive considering Ok is top 3 and Jones and Winslow should get drafted) and TRob.
I just want G to come back, could be ACC POY next year

I agree with your premise that G is our best point guard. The problem is he's our best 3 as well and that won't change next year. Malachi is more of a two guard. It's a bit of a conundrum. Maybe Roberson develops more of an outside she but he looks like a four to me.
No way Joseph starts next year... Mike is more than capable playing point and forwards are plentiful next year so we don't need him playing the 3 spot. You saw for 5 minutes tonight JB went with Mike and Cooney at guards, BJ and Tyler at the forwards. He would have stuck with that line-up if BJ played like he did against BC. I think JB has seen enough.
Imo point guard by committee next year. Mostly G and TC, Kaleb off the bench should be good. I think Malachi might even help w ball handling next yr. but pg by committee
People here expect PGs as freshman to be Jonny Flynn or Tyler Ennis.
I mean PGs take some time to develop. I don't expect players to be finished products till halfway thru their Junior year. Scoop took time to develop.
I want Gbinije to get minutes at PG though because we can then play G-Cooney-Richardson together next year and have 3 legit shooters with 2 bigs next year. However I am not done with Joseph. He is frustrating as a freshman but this experience has to help in the future.

Kaleb will get much better next yr, hes too nervous out there now. He will be a great Backup pg next yr but i do not see him being one of our best five players...unless G leaves

He made a few jump shots. Outside of that, today was a step back from his outstanding BC game.
How much were you drinking? he was awful tonight. I also want G at the pt next year (said itr earlier tonight in a post) but K.J. will get better. He just isn't and wasn't ready for this.

Usually in agreement with you, but he was awful tonight and really has been for most of this season. Repeatedly beat off the dribble to his side of the zone, did not get out on shooters or rotate to the corner on a few occasions. Offensively he's becoming poor from abysmal, but his defense has not improved one bit.

If G has a chance in the league, it's as a guard. Would be better for him and the team if he played either PG or SG for us next year.

I was trying to be kind. I'm not sure what game Jake was watching. Joseph made a few shots; that's about it. And would it kill Joseph to play a little defense on occasion. His lack of effort on defense borders on disturbing,
a couple of shots do not a good game make. He was terrible.
