Sure as hell hope we can obviously, stranger things have happened but I will tell you what we score first and early that ingg place will come unhinged. Hopefully 47,000 or so, I don't even know if the kids or Shafer really know what can happen to that place, little later in the day, bunch of tailgating, beers going in the dome. It will be thing of absolute beauty.

Like I said, who knows but damn am I looking forward to it!!

I hope the Dome rocks like it use to. I'm down in the Dallas area but will be glued to the TV and yelling like a nut!!!!

Clemson fans can be hyped about their team they are real good, but they dont hold a candle to the Miami team that came in here that we pummeled for a 2nd half and almost beat but ran out of time.

of course we arent nearly as good as that SU team either.

It's excitement we haven't had in this town since Miami and Virginia tech left. You just feel like you're part if something more substantial now that we SU is in the ACC. Perception means everything when it comes to sports.
Agreed. Actually this still feels like an out of conference game, kinda like the first time Miami came here. We (ok I) will get adjusted after a couple games. LGO!

I want the ball first. This is easily the most excited i have been for football BEFORE a game..ever. After the 2011 WVU game gave me about the same feeling haha.

Might I suggest winning the toss, taking the ball, and going with a reverse on the kickoff to a young, hardly known speedster?

I saw that episode once against a Top 5 team from the southeast. One that never recovered from it that day.

Sir, that is poetry. I salute you.

I was sitting - actually standing with anticipation - in lower end zone where the TD was scored, and I'm pretty certain my glasses are still flying.

We never seem to take the ball any more if we win the toss. I'm not sure it's wise to give a high-powered Clemson offense the ball first. Mixed feelings.

I'll never forget that at some point during the celebration chaos, before we kicked off back to Florida, I was the only person in the student section who wasn't standing on the bleachers. I was sitting down.

Because I couldn't breathe anymore. Up until that point, SU had received every last bit of noise I had in me. I wondered how they'd even get me out of there.

I recovered to get back to form for the rest of the game.

I got so tanked celebrating that game I passed out at a house party behind a couch. Thank God some nice people dragged me across the street to a friend's apartment to sleep it off.

Man, I miss college.

These are the games rivalries are made of. A great gameday environment. A team that gets no respect. A chippy game and a hell of an outcome gets that game circled on next year's calendar. - It does feel like old times.

It starts now

They are still trying to scrape that one guy off the Dome carpet. The one who gets annihilated around the 25.
Who was #45 on that Cuse team? Dude outran everybody and caught up to dar dar from 10 yards back.

Are you joking? That was Qadry "The Missile" Ismail, one of our all-time great play-makers.

I hope I don't sound rude, I'm really not sure if you're joking.

He's younger cut him some slack

I guess I forget how old I am. I was 14 for the Florida game. The '92 team is still my all time favorite team. Graves, Gedney, and Ismail on offense and Kevin Mitchell, a beast, on defense. I loved the old school (well, semi old school) option we ran.

I was 6 years old when that game was played and had never seen footage of Ismail at SU until that clip. I wish I had saw him play but only know him from that stats and articles written after the fact.

I love watching how fast Qadry is in that clip. It's awesome how he slows down to get a block and is still running as fast as Dar Dar.

The thing that gets me Is how fast he was making up ground on dar dar... while running with his arms up in celebratoon.
