Mahoney doesn't have much of an arm. That sideline throw that got us to 4th and 1 was maybe the best evidence of his lack of arm strength. But Wilson showed nothing at all. I say Mahoney and go all in on the triple option.

If you're not going to give AJ Long a shot, I would probably lean toward Mahoney simply because he can run the option offense a lot better than Austin Wilson ever could.

if no dungey we probably do same thing we did 2nd half rotate em in with mahoney more option look and wilson more pro style.

How is Maloney/Mahoney/whatever even a QB? It looked like he needed every ounce of energy to throw it 10 yards. Definitely not him.

They are going to have to give AJ Long thirst team reps and not worry about red shirting him this year. I am praying we good some good news tomorrow on Dungey's health/status.

the offense the 2nd half was skewed but not having the ball. first 2 drives we just didnt get a first down and the 2rd we threw the INT, after that really played not to give it back. we had 2nd and 2 and the rb went the wrong way, CM sold out to stop the run and like last week we only ran and handful of plays. more concerned about the D makeing 3rd down plays so the offense would have a chance to do something.

AJ must really be hurt if they don't play him; this staff showed in week 1 that they are not concerned about future seasons...

He missed just about all of training camp with a hand injury. It'll take him some time to get up to speed.

Minus Dungey...it's gonna be a long day
only thing going for us is that lsu's passing attack is not great as there a more run oriented team(as they should be with the rb)

If need be, roll with Mahoney. Lot's of running between the tackles, option, short throws. Control the clock and time of possession. Keep the LSU offense off the field.

If Dungey is healthy I wouldn't be adverse to not playing him. Maybe if the game is close get him out there after halftime. Make sure Dungey is good to go, 100%, for our ACC games.

If Dungy is anywhere not near 100% ready it would not make sense to play him. it looks like hes the future of this team. And if sitting him gives us a chance to beat at least 3 more teams in the rest of the schedule, thats the best for this team.

I'm just not sure the OL is going to get any push and our RBs are going to go anywhere. At least against LSU's first string.

I don't want to pile on the kid. I am sure he works very hard, but I hope Wilson never takes another meaningful snap. He was not good last year and he is not any better this year.

In hindsight it was unfortunate to move Womack to wideout; move him back and go all in for option football for however many weeks Eric is out...

How many QBs do we have? Do all schools have this many?

I really think they saw so much in Dungey that they moved Womack really quickly, not anticipating both Hunt And Dungey going out in 2 1/4 games.

If Eric is not 100% go with the rotation and let him sit. We have a 5% chance of beating LSU and a 95% chance of getting destroyed. No sense in losing him for the season

Judging by what I saw in that second half, I just really really hope Dungey is able to play
I think Dungey is the best option even if he is in a body cast. Just kidding. I hope he is feeling okay. Our other options are not that good after what we saw today.
