Have to say I was dumbfounded when the ref who made the call, both announcers (amazingly even after replay) and apparently the OP (unless I'm missing something) thought that was not clearly out on Virginia.

A not OB Marek (smartly) threw the ball at a Virginia player who was standing out of bounds. It's Syracuse ball the second it touched him.
