If you can't make 3's you can't win

0-10 from the arc. Disgraceful. It's a problem. We're never a good 3 pt shooting team. We usually have only one 3 pt specialist and another 2 guys are 25-28% types. The game has changed and you have to have multiple 3 pt threats. It's beyond frustrating that SU goes down to another unranked team. Dayton is far from a powerhouse team. The game was there to be had we just didn't take it. With the exception of 2 of our last 9 games...we just couldn't shoot worth a damn and so we go home.

It really is hard to believe a Top10 program can't find one guy who can make a shot. Are the baskets wider in HS?

All the Ennis jabs about the end make me want to jam a fork in my eyes but I'll just say, the only time all game we have a chance for God forbid some separation, up 3, he missed a wide open 3 w/ 7mins left. Next possession they get a basket and a foul, and we continue our decade plus long trend of being the worst rebounding team off missed FTs in the history of the world, they get fouled again and go up 1. Instead of up 6 & the crowd going nuts we're behind. That was your ballgame. Make one ***ing shot, JFC.

That was a painful stretch. And you are right…hit that dang shot and different game. Honestly, there were a couple of those moments in this game. Lid on the rim and ball just failed to bounce our way. Rak had a great block only to have it shoot out right to the other team while our guys had their backs turned to the ball.

whether or not we dont hit 3's the refs gave Dayton 3 points they didnt deserve and the ball out when they traveled so obviously, thay both played terrible , but the refs changed the game in favor of Dayton...so obvious
