Starting to remind me of hoops. :-(

I'm pretty critical of our basketball program lately, but unlike UConn football, we have hope. We are in a P5 Conference, where our name brand can carry us through any transition.

They have nothing.. No tradition. No brand. Barely a conference.

We’re also under sanction.
(I want to say this is the last year of the sanctions, and it only looks like we got “full scholarships” this year because of Buddy)

Oh, but they were SO sure that tradition didn't matter. Only the last few season's on-field results.

That ignores all the casual and semi-casual college football fans who are out there, or who still play parlay sheets at work. UConn doesn't exist to those football fans, and Syracuse always has.

We never went away in that sense. We just had 20 years in the wilderness.
