if we're down double digits at halftime of any ncaa tourny game,.please for the love of god, START DION IN THE 2ND HALF!!! we wasted 5 minutes to start the half without putting a dent in the lead with our best player on the bench.

tonite was not jbs finest hour. i said after the gtown game that if jb is stubborn with scoop and continues to roll with an obvious bad scoop its gonna cost us our season in the tourny. tonite was a perfect example, and im scared to death its gonna happen in the next couple weeks.

I disagree. Scoop has had his fair share of bench time this year in both halves of games.

completely disagree.

he has. but theres also been a fair share of games where its obvious its bad scoop and jb keeps him out there. it didnt cost us in the regular season. it cost us tonite. and it will end our season if it happens in the tourny. mark my words.

He also hit a big three.

completely disagree.

if scoop has a game like tonite from the 2nd round on, and jb stubbornly keeps him out there cuz he "trusts his veterans", we're going home. simply cant survive pg play like that in the tournament. every possession is vital. you think we can survive with scoop throwing lobs every other possession and trying 1 on 3 fastbreaks?

Why ?
Scoop has been playing great and had 2 bad games. I hate it when we start questioning every move JB makes when we lose. It happens. The kid bounces back from everything and I am confident he will bounce back next week.

Down 11 when Scoop left w/ 4 fouls. Down 5 when he reappeared. 1v3 turnover created the 4pt swing that helped lose the game.
So did missed FTs missed over and back and lights out shooting.

No, Triche missing those 2 free throws that would cut the lead to 3 was what lost the game.

Can't survive a game like we got from Joseph tonight either, wonder what the extent of his thumb injury is. Hope the image of KJo in warmups yesterday, getting 2 balls thrown to him at the same time and taking one off the thumb, does't become as indelible as the memory of Arinze rolling around on the floor 2 years ago. We need Joseph for a NCAA run.

3 bad games actually. He was pretty bad on Senior day. He's got to have it out of his system by now!

Sorry mate but I would not let Scoop walk my dogs right now. He has lost it. Not sure why or how but I don't care. I don't want to see him in there especially when we are down double digits.

3rd straight awful game in a row. all im saying is when its obvious its bad scoop, he needs to ride the pine. but im pretty sure in the tourny in a close game jb is gonna roll the dice with his senior leader scoop regardless of how hes playing, and that scares the crap outta me.

Triches two horrible passes also played a big role. I've never seen him make two passes like that. He also missed a lot of open looks (4-13). There were a lot of opportunities tonight that we wasted, but that's why teams lose.

Everyone did their part unfortunately.

KJo and Triche both had a lot of open corner jumpers. I will say this, at least BT follows his shot, KJo spends far too much time admiring his misses.

Triche's missed FTs hurt but came with 4:10 left. Scoop left when it was 47-36 around the twelve minute mark and returned around 9 minutes later (@ 58-53) to go 1v3.
