Pluto?
Pluto?
Ha. I have no idea how that happened. Obviously supposed to be Pluribus.Pluto?
Pluribus is a real slow burn up to episode 7. I like it, but let's get moving.Ha. I have no idea how that happened. Obviously supposed to be Pluribus.
Dang. I can't correct it...
Time for me to watch!Stranger things is complete. Not perfect at all, but I enjoyed the conclusion. It had highs and lows but I liked how it wrapped up for the main characters.
Agree. Ran through it in a couple of nights. Ruffalo gives his usual stellar performance and supporting cast was great as well. Interesting story lines with a few little plot twists that made it a worthwhile watch.Task on HBO is a fantastic show. 10/10.
I just finished the first season. Fun showLupin is so great. Omar Sy is just really charismatic.
That's always soul crushing.I just finished "Countdown" on Prime. It was actually pretty decent...then I found out Season 2 isn't happening. Ugh!
They said it didn't do well enough with the international audienceThat's always soul crushing.
Happens to a lot of solid shows too. Just didn't snap up enough audience, or the right audience, to continue even though the creative output is strong.
My understanding is it's all about drawing new subscribers and maintaining existing subscribers. Not all shows have those powers, but sometimes a single season of those shows is productive enough on both fronts to be a good bet but not beyond that.It does make you wonder why they create so many streaming shows, give it one year and dump them.
So many people binge these days that often you don't even find a show until its not renewed. Considering the spin up costs, is it cheaper to develop the next one and done than to just do a 2nd season of an avg performer and maybe it gets a following later?
I did.Anyone watch Wayward on Netflix?
Hmmm. Being odd that I work with children in a residential facility I feel kinda of obliged to watch it.I did.
It's weird. I was entertained. It's one of the most series on Netflix I've watched.
Yellowjackets is CRAZY. Also, gross. But also, fascinating. It's like Lost meets grind house cinema (that's an exaggeration. A little.)Hmmm. Being odd that I work with children in a residential facility I feel kinda of obliged to watch it.
And a co worker said it was good.
Either going with wayward or yellowjackets.
Couple movies on Netflix I wanna watch society of snow and woman of the hour.
Guess I’ll give r a goYellowjackets is CRAZY. Also, gross. But also, fascinating. It's like Lost meets grind house cinema (that's an exaggeration. A little.)
Given your line of work if a coworker said it was good I'd trust their judgment. Like I said, I was entertained. It's an unusual show though. Lots of unexpected things happen but not necessarily in a mysterious way.
Sorry that second paragraph was about Wayward.Guess I’ll give r a go
About 5 episodes in on wayward and it’s good. But find my self cringing sometimes. I kinda suspect where it’s been going so we’ll see.Sorry that second paragraph was about Wayward.
