I'm in London, where it really did start at midnight...

I'm looking right at you. And I've been here since 7 and haven't heard a boo. Must be the guy sitting next to you. Students are about 10% of the crowd.

Whatever you say lol. I could hear it pretty well here during the lip sync off.

Regardless, fighting about whether or not our crowd is booing seems pointless to me. Have a good weekend.

C.j. looks scary good ...Trevor looks good too. Even buss looks better than canada. Ennis looks good as well.. we are stacked

It's halftime of the scrimmage and I think he just left with many of the other students.

No I'm not leaving a chance to see live basketball. Looks like a lot of the students are ready to get their night of drinking started now though lol.

This was a wings and guards kinda game so tough for the inside players to standout.

How do we look? Because espn is a hateful bittch.

It's only a scrimmage with little defense but we are stacked. Cooney had five 3's and a few 2's, Fair hit 5 of his first 6 shots including a couple 3's. Ennis, Roberson and Johnson aren't frosh. All have balls. Still worry about the 3 bigs scoring. Grant was off a bit.

What about the freshman aside from ennis

Roberson looked frustrated that Ennis wasnt passing it up the court to him when he leaked out. Had a couple finishes around the basket and that was it.

Chino attempted a couple midrange jumpers and missed, had a nice pass to Keita, who knocked down 2 or 3 jumpers.

Patterson looked better then in Canada.

BJs shot wasnt dropping but it looks really nice.

Hard to read anything into defense since they don't really play defense at these.

Ennis better pass to roberson or ill deport his assss

Sadly a small crowd, Gumby and another student from Otto's army were the MC's. I only cared about the scrimmages, the rest was uggh at least to me.

Women shot very poorly and they will really miss Kayla Alexander, who graduated, in the middle big time.

The men looked very good offensively but not much effort on defense unfortunately. Trevor was absolutely on fire and CJ was great as was Ennis who is so smooth and mature in his game. Our big guys didn't get many chances since the ball was really pushed after each rebound. Dajuan , Grant, Christmas were there but not offensive factors at all. It reminded me of an All-star game where little defense was played. Our young guys are so athletic. They were hitting from outside and scoring on the break or a secondary break so not too many plays working the ball inside where our inside guys could even get a chance. Wish I saw more defense played. Was surprised seeing Keita play the 4 spot (perimeter)some on defense.

Oh the players came out getting hit with the fog machine and a few danced. However the men came in a far second to the womens team who really liked dancing to the music when introduced. The rest of the entertainment was forgettable - at least to me.

Saw the guys from Pope Pius and also Diagne (spelling) . I wish I knew what Bryant looked like to know if I saw him or any other recruits over there. They sat in the section next to where SU players usually come out of the lockerroom behind our bench. The students sat in the middle section behind the score table. Many left after the first 8 minute scrimmage. I stayed for the entire scrimmage but left at 10:00pm after it since we had our 11 year old granddaughter, a huge SU fan, with us. We were in section 104 in one of the first rows behind the basket.

Didn't hear any boos from where we sat either. However the sound system again was poor . Had fun though since we got to see the team play up close and personal, watch the new young talent and share it all with our granddaughter.

Aside from the incredibly bad hosts, last night was fun. My wife and I arrived in Syracuse around 3, checked in at the Sklyer and headed to Faegan's then Varsity. After plenty of wings and pizza washed down with a little Blue, we headed to the dome. First stop, our new season tix. We're going to enjoy the drive knowing they are there waiting for us...Good thing we had Club 44 passes because there was no beer being sold at the dome last night. I wonder if that contributed to the really small crowd?

Either way, we enjoyed ourselves in spite of the really really bad event hosts...The lip synching contest was HORRIBLE!!!!!!

But the team looked pretty good. Ennis, I think, has the potential to be VERY SPECIAL. Cooney looked improved, as did Grant. CJ looked great!!!! It's going to be a great season! LGO!
