This game, more than any other can best be summed up by the immortal Apollos Hester.
Yeah, and so what. This game, more than any other can best be summed up by the immortal Apollos Hester.
Yes, you never know who is going to step up. I was amazed by Bell today and Benny is fun. JBA and Taylor have had some great games; barely played tonight. We expect Jesse to be the star but he’s sick and only has one point at the half. Ends up with a double double! Everyone is mad at Joe, until they aren’t. Love Brown. He is biding his time. Today it seemed like everything he did was good. These players seem to have good attitudes. I like Judah but I think he plays out of control and doesn’t share enough. Then he does some really fun things and I find myself cheering for him.The early losses sucked, but otherwise, I am actually enjoying this season a lot - it really helps to have low expectations. I liked seeing Monmouth and Cornell taking it to us early, good for them - but I expect that the team will eventually win at this point in the season.
The really fun part is that JB is playing lots more guys and playing many more lineups on the floor than he ever did before - very refreshing. And lots of those lineups are doing pretty well, often better than the starting lineup.
Today he had Maliq at center and the last game he didn't have Joe/Bell/Taylor on the floor at the 10 min mark of the first half - fun stuff to watch.
Taylor is a weird case, sometimes he looks like the best all around forward (shooting, handle, passing), but a bunch of games he is a near zip in the box score.Yes, you never know who is going to step up. I’m starting to really like this team.
I loved his pass at the end on the break where he led someone out of bounds… unfortunately for him JB did not.Copeland drives me crazy. Talent and fearlessness without smarts.
Luckily, the game requires two halves.
Yeah, and so what.
40 minute game.
They had us for half of a half.
Technically they didn't because it was tied.
Am I the only one who sees him and thinks about an earl Scoop Jardine, only biggerCopeland drives me crazy. Talent and fearlessness without smarts.
Team is WAY more fun to watch than last year and in 2020 and 2015(the only years when I can think of that we kinda sucked). The early losses sucked, but otherwise, I am actually enjoying this season a lot - it really helps to have low expectations. I'll just say you all need to get your meme game up. This one is 8 years old for goodness sake. Or you could just watch the fun video I posted and you'd get it. Oh well. Carry on.
