It's comical. If I was a UConn fan, I'd say come talk to me when you guys can find a way to get ranked again, etc., and, oh by the way, win another 'chip as 'one is the loneliest number' while we are going for one for the thumb.

If I was a syracuse fan I would point out that they haven't won a tournament game in 8 years. And we were ranked at the end of the season just a couple of years ago. it's okay to ridicule them. They do it to us. We didn't have to throw our football program away to try and save our basketball program. We didn't try to stiff a Syracuse grad out of the money we promised because we are broke as they did with Ollie. And we sure haven't hired a lunatic to coach our team as they have with Danny.

As for Kentucky they only had 9 wins last year with the #2 ranked recruiting class.

Not for me. Maybe because I'm older and remember how useless they were for over a 20 years before Calhoun. And if that is true, why oh why, did no one want them in the realignment? I know football is king but those 4 should have meant something, no?

I mean if you can't take glee when teams you dislike lose, then no one should ever take glee when the Yanks lose. The Pats, ND, The Canadians, and the list goes on. And UConn certainly isn't at the level of any of those.

I guess uconn. Is better and can checkmate Kansas based on this logic. 4>2 post 1960’s. Huskies stunk for a number of years, captured some magic for brief period of time and gone back downhill recently. As Dash said 1 tournament win in 8 years is laughable.

And UConn can't even begin to compare themselves with Kansas historically. Some good years under Calhoun but that's about it.
 
UConn fans have to pretend they don’t care about football in order to justify playing basketball in Omaha, Nebraska on Thursday nights at 10pm on CBSSN.

Unfortunate, but everything you wrote is true.
 
The Kentucky board or boards, will be the worst today with the women losing yesterday.

A 6 seed losing to 11 seed Princeton.

The classic line somewhere should be: "Remember when Kentucky used to be a basketball school"?
