To me this is the schedule of a "professional" official, so I don't think it's out of line to expect a bit more consistency with calling the stated rules of the game. The physical nature of today's NCAA game is hard to take and it seems as though the teams with the "defensive stalwart" label get the ability to play their style. Louisville's press was supposed to lead to a tighter enforcement of contact on the perimeter, but that went away quickly.
Why doesn't the NCAA just make a guy like Driscoll a full-time official, or if not, limits should be placed on the number of games that they can call each week.
