Impressive work by NC State vs the Zone

I was impressed by the basic approach of NC State vs the zone. Of course it will always look impressive when you are shooting the lights out however I think their shooting percentage was more a function of the shots they were getting rather than just being "hot".

We won the game because of our offense and because of the turnover differential.

There were actually not many possessions in which NC State got off a shot that they did not score.

The talent difference was just too great for them and with Leslie cramping the second half, they were toastal struedal..

It was tremendous; State had the right players: one great shooter (#15) who forced us to extend the guards and bring up the wings (leaving the high post free), a couple of players who could make shots and pass well from the high post, a capable enough big, and a really talented wing who could hit the offensive glass.

Despite all that and their tremendous shooting performance, we won by almost 20. Pretty great game.

I think their huge shooting percentage had a lot to do with the fact that they had capable forwards, but not stars, so we were allowed to completely focus on not letting Wood get hot (haha, just no right way to say that, is there?).
