Improvement-or not

with 5 ex cuse guards on the bench already surely there is room for a front line player perspective. or are they too limited ?

Why are many, if not most, baseball managers former catchers? Maybe, like guards in basketball, they get a better understanding of how a play develops. I don’t think having a former guard as the big man coach is a problem. It could be a plus. Our problems currently are depth and age. Not much a coach can do other than keep kids on track for improvement.

the entire coaching staff seems rather one note to me. diversity could be a plus. different stroke different folks..
and again what staff has 5 ex catchers from the same club ? (coaching the pitchers no less). my guess is zero.
