You are incorrect, ClappyCuse did say that a poster's guess that DC was going to UK was correct.
Here is the post.
Please excuse me if I don't take your Maryland Mole word as proof of ClappyCuse's excellent sources.
Your logic behind "why" things were kept under wraps is absurd: DC's commitment to the Cuse was not kept under wraps at all. Not only were the logistical facts surrounding the announcement clear as day, but every single well connected beat writer also broke the news: (1) ahead of time; (2) accurately; and (3) without confusion or qualifiers.
Eh. Lets try this thing one at a time:
The link to your post doesn't prove what you think it proved. ClappyCuse wrote "your 10% is correct"...meaning you are correct, UK only has about a 10% chance. So you that reference kinda went over your head.
I don't know who ClappyCuse's regular sources are, but the one he used today was one that you would consider credible. Suffice, if you had the information, you would have posted similarly.
Finally - things were indeed kept under wraps for a very long time. DaJuan himself said he made up his mind a month ago. I can assure you when kids decide that long in advance it almost ALWAYS leaks. The fact that it didn't it testament to DaJuan's ability to keep a secret. I can assure you, the Syracuse coaching staff was not sure where he was going, until this afternoon. Finally, not a single journalist confidently picked Syracuse prior to the announcement. NOT ONE. Most said Syracuse was the perceived leader, or it looks like Syracuse...but none of them said it was definite until after the announcement.

People saying where Dajuan Coleman is going are just guessing. His AAU and high school coaches don't know. MW

Not surprising, but hearing Syracuse expected to be the pick for top center prospect (and 315 native) DaJuan Coleman.

Prep star Dajuan Coleman announcing today. Syracuse the favorite, Kentucky close behind, Ohio State supposedly out of the picture.
the word "expected" is a qualifier. It means, its what I'm hearing, but I'm not sure. I'd like to see your list of reporters who picked Coleman to Syracuse without a qualifier.
