Iommi deserves a LOT of credit for his observations about how good Sidibe is

A year ago people were bemoaning the decline of the program because Brissett and Sidibie weren't in the top 100.

There's been nothing wrong with our recruiting other than the NCAA sanctions. Our problem has been that we can't keep guys here after they get good and since Carmelo, they haven't been good enough to carry the team to a championship while they were here. Duke and Kentucky get the superstars. Villanova and Virginia get the four year guys. We get the guys who need 4 years to became stars but stay for 1 or 2 years.

I assume you are talking about the bounce pass to the corner for an open three?

That was a fantastic pass. Definitely one of the best passes we've seen since Rautins was throwing quarter court bounce passes.
That pass was awesome. Howard sees things 3 steps ahead. Very very court savvy

Plus we have the talent and now just need to muscle up

It's true. But I can't help to think that the coaches use it as a selling tool...least I would? How many programs can turn the 72 ranked player into a 1st round pick in two years? You look back at the 50-100 range players and a lot of them don't make it to the nba. Ours somehow do!
