Is Espn serious?

Why even give them the page view? Duke had the same amount of freshman picked in the first round as we did this year. Kentucky had 2. You would think the entire top ten was all duke or Uk players. Idiots

ESPN brass now run SU sports ( Wildhack). Whining about ESPN thinking no longer flies.

It was said on here that Wildhack himself was unsatisfied with ESPN's coverage of the B Fine situation in 2011/12, so I think this is perfectly inside the wheelhouse, especially since he is here now (theoretically nobody in the management driver seat).

We all know how much they schill for Duke, and Uk, but this is getting to be absurd. You need an insider membership to read the whole story, but I think you can get the point from the headline.

Are top freshmen not at powerhouses doomed?
Journalism in the internet age is all about generating mouse clicks, not credibility. We're slowly drifting towards the "National Enquirer" model. Personally, I derive great satisfaction in proving the pundits wrong (like last season and in 2003).

Of course, but I just found this completely unprofessional by their part, they should get money from Duke and Uk for their recruiting help.

And the powerhouses he uses for his statistical breakdown are Kentucky, Duke, UNC, Kansas, UCLA and Arizona. The comments have been savage so far.

:rolling:

Cheers,

You read ESPN comments? That is savage in itself.

They tend to be way more insightful than syracuse.com comments. ;)

But then you have to PAY to both read their insider stuff and make comments.

Cheers,
Neil

Syracuse.com comments embarrass me as a native CNY'er. We are better than that. The idiots that post there are disgusting.

I thought the pendulum was swinging away from comment sections. Anyway at least. ESPN requires a Facebook.

Which is even more disturbing that people can hold those views, be attached to them publicly, and not care how ignorant and idiotic and racist and homophobic and sexist and just plain dumb and yet still not care. It's embarrassing.

Which can be verified by looking at the average Facebook feed.

Guess I didn't have much of a point after all...
