On Sunday I saw an ad on an electronic billboard near the airport...feels like they are just letting what ever happens happens. and i dont mean promoting great ticket prices is what they need to do.
think this is ok for this one, it ain't going to be pretty so the casuals will not be able to see the great forward progress the program has made due to a confluence of bad luck and injuries etc. as this game won't be close. They'll just see another bad outcome and might conclude same old same old. It's less immediate seeing it in person vs. hearing or reading about it.feels like they are just letting what ever happens happens. and i dont mean promoting great ticket prices is what they need to do.
If you were writing a book, you'd be in big trouble...I think you need to be careful with this game. Yes, the more the merrier. I would love a full house to get that place rocking. And obviously you choose this "option" all day if it was that easy.
But on the other hand, the casual fans, the ones you are targetting in order to fill the Dome for this game, might walk away from this game (*assuming* a lopsided loss) with no intent of going back. Yes, LSU is a top 15 team. Yes, they have a heisman RB. Yes, we might not have our best offensive players. But to them? Doesn't matter. That's what people need to understand. A large portion of people simply follow the score board. They don't track depth charts/injuries. They don't track offensive/defensive system transitions midseason. They see 3-9 as the final record.
The games we truly need are the Pitt/BC home games.

I guess we could have Dungey film a PSA before the game informing fans that hey, we're gonna give it the ol' college try, but don't expect too much.
read your post above and then mine directly above it...great minds think alike!Sentence structure?
