Is there a Clemson Curse?

Apologies if this has been discussed before, but I'm beginning to think there may be a curse on the season when SU beats Clemson.
The last time they did, they didn't win another game the rest of the year (5 straight losses), no bowl game, and they ended up losing their starting QB a couple games later.
This year, SU beat Clemson finally for the 2nd time, SU lost their starting QB, and it's looking like they may not win another game this season nor go to a bowl game.
It's tough to see such a huge win for the program followed up by such disappointment.

I was thinking the same thing. Eerily similar, except I thought we had a much more talented team this time…but now I think I might be wrong.

I think we have more upside in many areas. But when the downside is oline play, you are often doomed.

Totally agree there is. Even when we played them tough and lost, it felt that many of those years dovetailed into horribleness from then on.

I don't think it's just when we win. We also seem to come out of the Clemson game roughed up and we perform worse after.
