Or at least a tailgate to the extent that you could have one in the Bronx. I saw that tickets went on sale today so I got horny for SU FB.
Your best bet is to go to the Dugout across the street from the stadium.Or at least a tailgate to the extent that you could have one in the Bronx. I saw that tickets went on sale today so I got horny for SU FB.
Commutability to Yankee Stadium is a breeze. Met Life is set up better for tailgating, and of course, football, I’ll give you that. Personally, I’d much rather have a train drop me off on the doorstep of Yankee Stadium.I know MetLife sort of sucks but the commutability and tailgate ability means I still much prefer it over yankee stadium

YMMV. I went to the yankee game this weekend. It took 1 2 1/2 hours to drive in from central NJ, and an hour and a half to get home for what is now a 2 1/2 hour baseball game. I'd do the train if it was a direct shot from NJ. It's a pain in the ass with the transfers and honestly not a whole lot quicker for me (maybe the same 90 minutes door to door as the return drive).Commutability to Yankee Stadium is a breeze. Met Life is certainly closer to CNJ (as I am a resident of the 732 myself) but I don’t mind taking the train to Penn Station and the subway up to the Bronx. For me it’s a lot less stressful than getting in and out of Met Life. It may take a little longer, but to me it’s worth it.YMMV. I went to the yankee game this weekend. Yes, because Giants Stadium (sorry, old school) is an actual football stadium.I know MetLife sort of sucks but the commutability and tailgate ability means I still much prefer it over yankee stadium

To quote the late, great Don Ohlmeyer of NBC Sports, "the answer to all your questions is money." This is a perfect example in that we gave up a home game for this.This.
I have been to at least 50 college football venues in my life. The worse, by a huge margin, is Yankee Stadium (if you can even call it a football venue).
I don't hate the Yankees and as a baseball stadium, that facility is top notch.
But it is a horrendous place for watching football games.
Please SUAD, never ever ever ever ever ever ever ask Syracuse fans to watch a football game there again.
