this box score (and the Maryland box score) sum up what a hot piece of garbage that 2019 team was, until they actually played with some passion the last 3 games.

No one wants to hear this but the Maryland game was bigger

It definitely was. Win that and we would have had a full week of the national media celebrating the resurgence of Syracuse football, complete with a 3-hour infomercial before the Clemson game viewed by millions. Who knows what that would have done for recruiting, and the program at large. It sure wouldn't have hurt!

But tomorrow is nice too.

If we lose out he deserves to be fired. I don't think SU would pull the trigger though. Even 5-7 should be a grey area. I would be fine giving him one more year but one can make the argument that he should go.
