the guys playing too many minutes and while today we had 3 guys play 40, it was the 2 minutes that Cole
didn't play that probably cost us the game.

To be fair the drop off today after #6 was about as big as you'll find. But for sure today, we needed 4 guys specifically to go 40.

Lot's of stuff happened the past couple weeks that were by complete accident that showed us how bad of a year JB had managing the lineup. I think we probably underachieved this year due to the coaching. Symir being productive while getting a lot of run the last 2 games is a big one.

If there was any choice .. symir would continue to have been stapled to the bench

More than productive. 20 assists in 2 games against top talent is big time stuff at this level.

This was an example that you need to have guys 9,10 and 11 on the roster be Power 5 level players in the event of emergency.

You can't just roll with your limited rotation of 8 in the event of injury and suspension going into the season.

To be fair, it's a very fine line to walk in today's game with transfers. Few teams have more than 8/9 ready to go because they know guys 10,11 will just leave.

I'd love a solid 9 of depth - that said, can't really plan for season ending injuries and suspensions.

Bring back 40 minutes of hell like Arkansas had play 10 or 11 guys. Most teams don't have a lot of guys who can handle. Be good for next year's team athletic, not great shooters. Create turnovers, force opponents to get into their bench because of a fast pace.

Like I said, find a kid who in the transfer portal era wants to be guy 10 or 11, it's just not happening. Different era.
